Randomness
After today, things should be back to normal around here. I have about a week full of random pictures and then maybe I'll be able to get back to posting things when they actually happen! I'd also like to get back to posting past vacations when there are days that I have nothing to write about. Schools out in about 2 weeks and soccer is coming to an end, so I think I'll be able to get back with it and get them finished w/in the next few weeks!
Creag was at Edie & Paul's most of the day on Wednesday and then we met for dinner Wednesday evening for Chinese. He recently had a Gate Analysis done where he found out that he needs to slow down on his running, otherwise a Full Knee Replacement Surgery is likely w/ in 20 years. He'd been debating on taking up Cycling & finally bit the bullet & bought a bike! Hopefully he loves it as much as he does running.
Last Thursday, Skylar had a make-up Soccer Game. I have yet to get any pictures of her playing. I don't know what it is, I must just be way to into all of the action & hollering like a crazy woman that I don't even think of taking pictures. I guess I need to change that this weekend! I did on the other hand, get a picture of another bouquet of flowers that my little man brought me:)
Friday, we had baseball where Hank's team won their first game! He hit 2 out of 3 at bats. He also got hit in the wrist w/ the ball while playing catcher and then at his game on Saturday, the same thing happened! His poor wrist bruised almost immediately, but it gave him a break to eat Cheet-O's! They didn't play as well on Saturday, so the picture below of the entire team sitting, is them getting a little talking to.
After the games on Saturday, (we had 3 of them) we got ready and headed over to River Downs to place a few bets before heading over to Creag's parents house to watch the Kentucky Derby. They had a lot of family over for a little get together to watch the Derby and then afterwards they got pictures together for the Viewing on Sunday.
Sunday, we spent most of our morning cleaning and getting caught up around the house and then we had Edie's viewing on Sunday night. It was a hard week for Creag as he was there with Edie and a lot of his family when she passed away. Everyone knows though, that she is now pain free and in a better place. Her viewing on Sunday night was unreal. The line never, ever slowed down. It took about an hour to make it through the line and it just showed what an amazing person she was. She will truly be missed by everyone!
